Pain in the ...!  Hemorrhoids are a common problem.  About 50% people will develop hemorrhoids.  The burning, swelling, and pain in the rectum/anus can be frustrating.  Simple creams and suppositories can help.  However, persistent or recurrent problems need medical evaluation.

Internal hemorrhoids can be effectively treated without surgery.  Endoscopic banding of internal hemorrhoids is a quick, painless procedure where a small rubber band is placed around the hemorrhoid.  The tissue will shrink and go away.  Banding can really help those suffering from internal hemorrhoids.  Dr. Wray and Dr. Prince are now performing this helpful procedure.
