Prescriptions and refills are issued during office hours only Monday thru Friday.   Please allow for up to two business days to review a medication request.  During the evenings and weekends it is difficult to determine if a prescription or refill is indicated when the doctor does not have your medical record to review.

When calling the office for a prescription or refill, the receptionist will ask you for your name, a phone number where you can be reached, and the name/phone number of your pharmacy. The nurse will consult with your doctor, and if a prescription or refill is indicated, it will be approved with the pharmacy as soon as possible.

Because we are increasingly concerned with the abuse of narcotics in our society, we do not routinely prescibe narcotic medications.

If you have not been seen in our clinic recently, our physicians may require that you come in for an office visit prior to any medication refills.
