pH Capsule

Esophageal pH (acid) testing is the measurement of the level of acid in the esophagus with a small acid sensor which is temporarily placed into the esophagus.  You will wear a recording device for 2 days.  You can resume your normal diet and activities.  After 2 days, you bring the equipment back, and the information will be transferred into a special computer.  Later, it will be reviewed by our physicians, and you will be contacted with results in a few days.
