Stomach Ulcer

Upper endoscopy "EGD" is the video examination of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum.  During the exam if any problems (i.e. a stomach ulcer) are found, our physicians can take a tissue sample (a biopsy).  You will be given medication for sedation and comfort.
