After medical school education, our physicians complete years of additional training to help us understand the digestive process. Also we become specialists in performing digestive procedures. Board certification in gastroenterology confirms our specialized knowledge and skill.
Our physicians provide gastroenterology consultations at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, a member of Covenant Health. Since we only treat digestive issues, hospitalized patients are usually managed by hospitalist physicians. Our physicians also perform advanced endoscopic procedures like ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound at Methodist Medical Center.
Once again, Methodist Medical Center was highly ranked by US News. In 2014 GI surgery was included in the ranking methods. The team approach at Methodist Medical Center has proven to deliver excellent results.
